Tu Wien is located in the very heart of Vienna. The conference takes place in the Freihaus Building, Wiednerhauptstraße 8 – 10, 1040 Vienna.
All conference talks and sessions, as well as coffee breaks and lunch will be situated in this building.
Travel and Accommodation
Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements, costs and insurance. The information below is intended as guidance to facilitate and enhance your stay in Vienna.

The very best ways to get around Vienna are either on foot, or by using the excellent public transport system.
Station Karlsplatz is served by underground lines U1 (red), U2 (purple) and U4 (green).
Tram stop Resselgasse is served by tramlines no. 1, 62 and the Badner Bahn

Wiener Linien also offer short term bicycle hire.
While there are some limited, fee-based parking options in and around central Vienna, we would encourage you not to bring a vehicle into the city.
